Valstom Energy provides Value-Added Services that complement our integrated project package supply of valves, piping, mechanical, and instrumentation products. These services are designed to enhance installation readiness, compliance, and operational reliability for project, maintenance, and shutdown requirements.
Our service scope focuses on controlled integration, inspection, testing, modification, and documentation support to ensure that supplied equipment fully aligns with project specifications, site requirements, and applicable international standards prior to delivery.
We support valves and flow-control systems across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water, and Process Industries as part of coordinated project supply packages.
Valve Automation & Integration
Valstom Energy provides Valve Automation and Integration Services to deliver fully assembled, tested, and ready-to-install valve packages for isolation, control, and emergency shutdown applications. Integration activities are performed in accordance with project datasheets, control philosophy, and functional requirements.
Automation is executed to ensure mechanical compatibility, functional reliability, and seamless interface with site control and safety systems.
Service Scope Includes:
- Assembly of valves with Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electric Actuators and Gearboxes
- ON–OFF and Modulating Valve Automation Systems
- Control valves with smart positioners (HART & Foundation Fieldbus)
- ESD valves with Partial Stroke Testing (PST)
- Solenoids, limit switches, and positioners integration
- Mounting bracket and coupling design and fabrication
- Control panel and enclosure assembly and setup
All assemblies are aligned with project specifications and supplied with complete supporting documentation.
Testing & Validation
To ensure performance, integrity, and compliance, Valstom Energy carries out Testing and Validation prior to dispatch as part of its quality control process. Testing activities are planned based on project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards.
Validation ensures that supplied equipment meets functional, mechanical, and material requirements before delivery to site.
Testing Scope Includes:
- Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
- PMI (Positive Material Identification)
- Functional Testing (Open / Close operation)
- Pre-Dispatch Inspection and Verification
- Test Records, Reports, and Documentation
The testing scope is defined strictly in accordance with project requirements and approved inspection procedures.
Valve Modification & Machining
Valstom Energy supports project-specific Valve Modification and Machining services to meet application, service, and installation requirements. Modifications are carried out to ensure dimensional compatibility, operational suitability, and compliance with project specifications.
All modification activities are executed with full traceability, inspection control, and documentation.
Modification Scope Includes:
- Trim changes and end-connection modifications
- Stem extensions for cryogenic, buried, or elevated installations
- Pup piece and nipple fabrication
- Packing and gasket material changes
- Custom machining for dimensional compliance
- Valve tag plate installation
Surface Preparation & Blasting
Valstom Energy provides surface preparation and blasting services for pipes, valves, and associated equipment as part of integrated project supply packages.
Service Scope Includes:
- Abrasive blasting of pipes, valves, and components
- Removal of mill scale, rust, oil, grease, and contaminants
- Surface profile preparation for specified coating systems
Applicable Standards:

- SSPC / NACE surface preparation standards
- Project-specific coating requirements
Coating & Painting Protection
Valstom Energy provides coating and painting protection solutions to enhance corrosion resistance, environmental durability, and service life.
Service Scope Includes:
- Protective painting for valves and equipment
- Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE)
- Cement Mortar Lining (where specified)
- Hot-Dip Galvanizing
- Industrial anti-corrosion coating systems
All coating activities are supplied with inspection and compliance records.
Fast-Track & Shutdown Support
Valstom Energy provides Fast-Track and Shutdown Support services for time-critical project, maintenance, and turnaround requirements.
Support Includes:
- Fast-track handling for urgent requirements
- Expediting and delivery coordination
