High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems (HIPPS)

High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems (HIPPS) are applied in Oil & Gas and process facilities to provide automatic overpressure protection by isolating the pressure source before the design limits of downstream equipment are exceeded.

HIPPS are implemented where conventional relief systems are not feasible or where reduction of flare loads is required. Supplied as part of HIPPS assemblies in accordance with project SIS requirements.

Typical System Scope • Shutdown valves (final elements)
• Valve actuation systems
• Pressure sensing instruments
• Logic solver interface components (where within supply scope)
• Associated accessories and interconnections
Design & Compliance • IEC 61508 / IEC 61511
• SIL-rated components
• Fail-safe and Fire-safe
